Dear participants, dear ISIN members, dear faculty members,
It is time to thank you for your participation and your engagement in a successful and fruitful convention of the ISIN in Vienna 2019. It was a pleasure to host the 7th Congress and Educational Course of the ISIN 2019.
We were glad to have a total 458 registered participants from 56 countries (including 43 faculty members). Due to your participation and the hard work of the educational and scientific committees, we have experienced a plethora of valuable contributions, including keynote lectures, oral and poster presentations, and lively discussions during the scientific sessions. Please visit the program site again, since several lectures were shared by the faculty for you as pdf’s (Educational Course and Congress). We have enjoyed the stimulating conversations in between the scientific and educational sessions as well as during the networking events. The social program has provided networking facilities for almost every day during the 6 -day event. For the first time we have initiated for a joint reception for the participants of Educational Course and the Scientific Congress. Please have a look at the beautiful pictures from you and your colleagues. You may visit the gallery where the photos are ready for your download. We are thankful to the jury members, who have awarded four presentations for best oral or best poster presentation. We have received lots of positive feedback during the convention; thus, we have a good feeling that we could fulfill most of your expectations.
As it is one of the main purposes of the ISIN Congress and Educational Course, to convince new members, we are happy to announce that 26 new members registered during the ISIN 2019 event.
Finally, without the generous support of our sponsors this event would not have been possible.
We appreciate the dedicated and encouraging work of the Congress Organizer WMA and we can announce the WMA will keep the Congress website open until October 20, 2020.
I may thank my family for their support during the time or organizing this Congress.
In the name of the Co-Chair Andrea Szelényi and the local faculty we wish you a merry holiday season and we are looking forward to seeing you in Kyoto 2020.
